Accelerated Training
Options: One Hour Sessions
Part time: 3x per week for 4 weeks: $1740 +HST
Full time: 5x per week for 4 weeks: $2800 +HST
Let us do the training for you and accelerate their learning in the environment your dog actually lives in. We teach loose leash walking in your neighbourhood. We deal with counter surfing in your kitchen. We work on recall and engagement at your local park.
When our certified professional trainer takes the leash you and your dog will benefit from our expertise and timing. You’ll see accelerated rates of improvement that would not be possible if you if only met with us a few times a month.
Common behaviours addressed during our sessions:
– Come when called
– Loose leash walking
– Cooperative care (grooming, etc)
– Basic manners and obedience
– Nipping
– Barking
– Counter surfing
– Eating things on walks
– Reactivity
– Chasing cars
– Sound sensitivity
– Resource guarding
Who is this for?
Accelerated Training is for the pet parent that wants the most consistent behaviours in the least amount of time.
Does it have to be four weeks?
To get the behaviour changes that our clients want to see, we have set our minimum to four weeks. If you’d like to purchase two or more packages you can do so at a reduced rate. Contact us for more information.
Is this for puppies or adult dogs?
Accelerated Training is for dogs of all ages. With our custom curriculum we focus on the issues you want, regardless of age.
Do I need to be there for each session?
Accelerated Training is the ultimate convenience training program. You don’t even need to be home during the sessions!
Will my dog listen to me?
Absolutely! We offer intensive pet parent support. You’ll get hands-on coaching from our certified professional dog trainer at your convenience. We also offer e-mail support, video review, and text messaging.
Aren’t training classes the same thing?
While you and your dog may learn skills taught in traditional obedience classes, our Accelerated Training program provides intense specialized attention. We can also address behaviours outside the scope of traditional classes.
Do I still have to do “homework?”
Yes! Though our certified professional trainer will work to teach the behaviours you want to see, they still need to be maintained. You will be provided with a training plan and any help you need along the way.
Do I need the dog walker for the day?
We can spend a portion (or all) of your training hour on walking. We will always ensure your dog takes a potty break, whether we work on walking or not. We also offer a Hang and Train add-on package. Click here for more details.
Do I need full or part time?
If you find your dog’s behaviour really inconvenient, choose full time.
I have a vacation during the sessions!
Though it is best to get all sessions done within four weeks, we can schedule the sessions over the course of six weeks.
