Our certified professional trainer brings the classes right to your home. All of the behaviours, none of the hassle. With our custom curriculum there is no time wasted on behaviours your dog already knows. We spend six weeks working on life skills that make your life easier.
From foundational skills to more inconvenient behaviours, we cover it all. Right in the comfort of your own home.
We teach loose leash walking in your neighbourhood. We teach “relax on a mat” in your own kitchen. We teach “drop it” with their own toys.

Who is this for?
Private Classes are for the pet parent that wants dog training classes but without all the hassle of going to them. This is also appropriate for dogs who find traditional classes overwhelming.
Is this for puppies or adult dogs?
Private Classes are for dogs of all ages. With our custom curriculum we focus on the issues you want, regardless of age.
Does it have to be six weeks?
To get the behaviour changes that our clients want to see, we have set our minimum to six weeks. If you’d like to purchase two or more packages you can do so at a reduced rate. Contact us for more information.
Do I still have to do “homework?”
Yes! Though our certified professional trainer will work to teach the behaviours you want to see, they still need to be maintained. You will be provided with a training plan and any help you need along the way.
Will my dog listen to me?
Absolutely! We offer intensive pet parent support. You’ll get hands-on coaching from our certified professional dog trainer at your convenience. We also offer e-mail support, video review, and text messaging.
Do I need to be there for each session?
Private Classes are designed around teaching you to teach your dog. Too busy to train your dog? We have you covered with our Accelerated Training program.
Will this work for reactivity?
Behaviour modification takes time. Crossed Paws can absolutely help you with Private Classes, but it takes daily work on your end as well. You may prefer a Behavioural Consultation or an Accelerated Training package to tackle larger problems. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us.
I have a vacation during the sessions!
Though it is best to get all sessions done within six weeks, we can schedule the sessions over the course of eight weeks.
